Ground Control - Coming Soon!
GroundControl is a multi-tenant account, application, licensing and user management software component built for secure, webservice-based communications. The intent of the project was to write the necessary security, session management and application license management "plumbing" code once rather than once per application. Since S2 apps are focused on being primarily delivered through the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model it was necessary to architect the solution to work with any potential application. (GroundControl can even be used by solutions hosted wholly internal to a given organization with no Internet-based dependency by installing a local GC instance.) While we built this application component for our own use it will be available for use by other developers or development organizations interested in leveraging this set of features.
